Permanencia ("permanence" or "duration of stay") is an experimental regenerative architecture workshop based in Monterrey, México.
Regenerative architecture aims to bring back balance to our ecosystems by thoroughly examining our built environment through the lenses of: material and energetic sustainability, as well as a deep connection with the life and culture already present.
We look for spacial solutions that are healthy and supportive towards their inhabitants, while creating biotic architecture which coexists with its ecosystem instead of ignoring it.
We design your forever home, school or community as a reflection of their own identity. Collaboration and conscious design form an essential part of our process.
Founded by Sergio Romero de los Ríos, who studied architecture at Monterrey Institute of Technology and with a love of learning about the natural world; PAR is a natural response against the existential fragmentation which we are living through as a species.
